Chris seems happy with the deal I struck with Dan. I told him everything, except the part about threatening to out Dan to Greg. I didn’t think that would matter. If Dan lived up to his part of the bargain, Chris will never know.
I think I’ll be justified if I have to, but I know Chris will be disgusted. He doesn’t believe there is ever a reason to out someone.
Anyway, once Greg knows, I can fill him in on the other things to watch for. He probably won’t need it – straight boys tend to be really cautious around gays – but there is no harm in telling him.
I’m actually hoping that Greg is so disgusted with Dan that he decides to come back to Melbourne with us. That’s the best solution. I’m not happy with Greg being here without anywhere to run, if he needs to.
