I was pretty sure that Diane hadn’t told him that Chris was gay, and I was looking forward to his reaction when he learnt. If I was lucky, I’d be able to get him seated between Chris and Paul before he found out.
I know it’s petty, but since most of my planned fun had already been taken out by him tagging along, I was determined to extract as much enjoyment out as I could. If that meant making him the butt of a few jokes, then so be it.
